HackIllinois
THE EVENTHackIllinois is an annual and well-known hackathon run by students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, taking place over a span of three days. A design team picks a theme, creates all print and digital marketing, and curates swag bags for the 1000+ attendees who visit each year.
THE TASKAs a member of the design team for HackIllinois 2020, I worked with a team of five other designers to develop the year’s rebranding, design the website, and produce print deliverables as well as swag for attendees.
Our theme was Explore. Connect. Build.

An animated illustration I created to open each HackIllinois event presentation for attendees.
I collaborated with Hayley Peterson on the initial teaser page above, as well as on the site’s main homepage design.

SWAG
Swag for HackIllinois 2019 where the theme was “Make Waves”. I designed the shirt, bag design, shell-shaped pin, hat design, and sticker sheet.
For HackIllinois 2020, I created the bag design again! Pins were designed by Abrielle Bujack.
